Gordon Van Tine 634, Many Conveniences Featured in This Home

The great popularity of this home is well merited. The exterior appearance is so different from the ordinary small home that it stands out, a striking expression of individuality, in any community. The unusual roof treatment with the dormer and battered gables, balanced by the porch roof and the roof over the dining room projection contributes much to the charm of this home. The colonial windows and the quaint latticed porch help to carry out the general air of hospitality so noticeable in this design.

Let’s have a look at two examples I found in Chatham, New Jersey!

The Gordon Van Tine 634 was first offered in 1920 as the 588, in 1926 it was renumbered to 634. In 1928 it was renamed the Dallas and it was also the last year it was offered.
