Hi, my sister and their family recently moved in a house in Columbus, Ohio. I think there are Sears houses there. Can you tell me where I can find help or would you know what they are? Thanks.

Hi Barb, yes the house at 188 S Westgate is a Sears house. That model is called the Westly. The other house unfortunately is not.

Dear Rachel,
Thank you for your time and generosity in scanning a page for me from one of your many Sears catalogs, that was so nice of you and please know most appreciated! Also, thank you for all the information you have available on your website, and for scanning and generously sharing so much from your catalogs to share on-line, much of which is very difficult to find and immensely helpful for research.
Sincerely,
Stacey

Your research is amazing! The collection of Sears ephemera is unbelievable. Is that all?

Hi Brad,
I saw the real estate listing. No, this is definitely not a kit home.

Dear Rachel Shoemaker,
My name is Luca Sabbadini from Summary Architecture in Porto, Portugal.
First of all I’d like to congratulate for your research, it’s an amazing job.
We are currently developing a Virtual-Reality exhibition focused on Offsite Architecture and the reasons why this process have been chosen so many times in history.
One of the projects we are going to include as a remarkable example is the Sears Homes Catalogue.
Other than 3d-Models, we are going to show some pictures for every building exhibited.
On this page you have lots of pictures we’d like to include in our work and I was wondering if you’d like to help by allowing us to use some of them (if you own the copyrights).
If you are interested or you want to know more about our work, we’ll be happy to share more information.
Thank you for your time,
Best regards,
Luca Sabbadini.
