Sears

These are catalogs in my personal collection. This page gets updated frequently as I acquire more catalogs.  If you would like a copy that is not watermarked you may email me at searhomes@yahoo.com

I could write pages about Sears homes and their history.   If you have any questions email me and I will be happy to answer your question!   Here are two very good sources for information about Sears homes:  Rebecca Hunter and Rosemary Thornton.

Sears Indexes are available for viewing now!

There are two very helpful and resourceful facebook pages as well.  Sears Modern Homes on facebook and  Sears Homes Group on facebook

Remember that a good reporter, writer, blogger, speaker ALWAYS credits their sources!  I see a lot of blogs and articles and images out there that are basically summarized reports of what researchers have shared in their blogs and websites.

Hi, my sister and their family recently moved in a house in Columbus, Ohio. I think there are Sears houses there. Can you tell me where I can find help or would you know what they are? Thanks.

    • Hi Barb, yes the house at 188 S Westgate is a Sears house. That model is called the Westly. The other house unfortunately is not.

    Dear Rachel,
Thank you for your time and generosity in scanning a page for me from one of your many Sears catalogs, that was so nice of you and please know most appreciated! Also, thank you for all the information you have available on your website, and for scanning and generously sharing so much from your catalogs to share on-line, much of which is very difficult to find and immensely helpful for research.
    Sincerely,
    Stacey
